CAWa Workshop "Future Scenarios for Water Use in Central Asia"

There were considered different models and the spatio-temporal scope of models simulations.
In particular, Abror Gafurov briefed on REMO climate model resalts and hydrological model WASA. Hans-Georg Frede and Yvonne Dernedde presented Crop water requirement model WAF. ASBmm model and simulations, reservoir management scenarios were introduced by Anatoliy Sorokin. Target audience was presented by representatives of SIC ICWC, ZEU and GFZ.
After overviewing the models they disscussed socio-economic scenarios, definition of base line periods and future scenarios as well as definition of links between models. In terms of scenario evaluation participants considered the issues of indicators to be used for scenario evaluation and concept for evaluation and workshop with decision makers.
