Round table “National consultation on water resources development in UN agenda after 2015”

Target audience was presented by representatives of Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources Management of the Republic of Uzbekistan, The Executive Committee of the Central Council of Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan, The State Committee for Nature Protection of Uzbekistan, Uzhydromettsentr, "Uzkommunkhizmat" Uzbek Agency, "Lower Syrdarya" BISA, "Chirchik-Ahangaran" BISA, "Syrdarya-Soh" BISA, Institute of Water and Irrigation under the TIIM, TIIM, "Vodproject"Institute, Union for the Protection of the Aral Sea and Amu Darya HGO, Protection of Zervashan river HGO, "For ecologically clean Fergana" Association, SIC ICWC etc.
Participants disscussed the priorities for future water development program in Uzbekistan after 2015, in particular, vision of IWRM in Uzbekistan, remedies of drinking water supply and sanitation in Uzbekistan, solution to the problems of aquatic ecosystems as a priority for sustainable development.
They also considered the key elements of the Monitoring and Information of Water Management in Uzbekistan, to be more specific, it was related to monitoring and information on water resources, vision of information support of water management.
