According to the Cooperative Program for Capacity Building for Integrated Water Resources Planning and Management for Central Asia, it is planned to conduct national workshops in each country of Central Asia.
For this purpose the following tasks are scheduled to start:
- A market study of the emerging training needs, within the public and private sectors, in the fields of agricultural and environmental sciences.
- The formulation of short-term and long-term business plans for the training centre. The business plans would include projections of revenues from tuition fees and training contracts.
- The development of a marketing and promotional plan for the training centre.
- The identification and development of training courses required within the private sector. The focus of these courses will be towards privatisation, small business and entrepreneurship. Potential courses include
the preparation of business plans, procurement, and
privatisation.
