Social mobilization and water users association development workshop took a place in newly established Training Center in Osh |

Between September 9 and 14, 2002 Between September 9 and 14, 2002, the workshop take a place in the newly established Training Center in Osh city (Republic of Kirghizstan) which is a branch of Tashkent Training Center of ICWC. Training Center in Osh was established with financial support of IWMI(International Water Management Institute), SDC (Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency) . .
The workshop topics were prepared by specialist of IWMI in cooperation with ICWC specialists. More that twelve theme were presented on the workshop. The participants from Tajikistan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan and four reprsentative from Karakalpakistan were invited.
The following questions were considered:
- Social mobilization;
- Interrelationships among water users;
- Advantage of water users associations organization and it's implementation
and popularization among farmers, local authorities;
- Etc.
