Final workshop on the project "Addressing water scarcity and drought in Central Asia due to Climate Change".
On March 14,2005 a Final workshop on Climate Change project has been held in ICWC Training Centre in Tashkent. During the workshop the following reports have been heard:
- Prof V.A. Dukhovny: Openning Speech. "Adaptation to Climate Change";
- G.V. Stulina: "Recommendation of adaptation due to Climate Change";
- H.U. Umarov: "Results of the project execution in Uzbekistan, Ferghana Valley";
- O.I. Demidova: "Results of the project execution in Kazakhstan, Golodnaya steppe";
- I. Kholimov: "Results of the project execution in Tajikistan";
- G.F. Solodkiy: "Data base of the project";
- G.V. Stulina, A.D. Torguzova: "Gender issues".
Workshop was openned by project manager Prof. V.A. Dukhovny. He greeted the workshop participants and reviewed the two years works under the project.
