Visit of Robert Baker, Project Manager, to the ICWC Training Center - April 30 - May 10, 2001 |

Between April 30 and May 10, 2001, the ICWC Training Center was visited by Mr. Robert Baker from McGill University, who is a Project Manager of the Water Resources Management Training Project in the Aral Sea Basin.
Robert Baker has a degree in Agricultural Engineering and working at his own company SAXE Engineering Inc. He has a 15 years experience as a Project Manager/ Engineer on a variety of civil, environmental remediation and agricultural engineering projects.
During his stay in Tashkent Robert supervised the accounting and budget issues together with Mr. Mukhina, Chief Accountant of SIC ICWC, and acquainted with the progress of project implementation.
 Taking into account the undergoing development of the training course on feasibility studies and procurement, Mr. Baker brought with him books on project management, marketing and business planning, to be used by the ICWC Training Center employees.
Mr. Baker and leaders of the ICWC Training Center - Mr. Dukhovny and Mr. Umarov - discussed present and future activities of the ICWC Training Center and agreed on its main directions in the near future.
