Strategic plan preparation for IWRM principles realization in Central Asia April 24-26, 2004, Tashkent, Uzbekistan |

This report follows successful completion of the SIC ICWC working seminar "Coordination of the strategic plan preparation for IWRM principles realization in Central Asia", which took place from 26 to 28 of April 2004 in the ICWC Training Centre.
Organization of this seminar was within the framework of preparatory activities for the IWRM principles implementation in the basins of the two rivers. Seminar agenda and paper presentations have initially been approved by the ICWC and ESCAP and they were oriented at for the assessment of work done in the field of IWRM implementation in the region as a whole.
Seminar and the work meeting were jointly organized by the UN ESCAP, SDC, SIC ICWC and IWMI and were held in the ICWC Training Centre.
