From 29 to 30 of November, 2004, the seminar of the project on "Automation of Canal Management in Ferghana" was held in ICWC TC.
The overall goal of the seminar was to discuss main provisions and terms of reference to the project "Automation Canal management in Ferghana Valley" and preparedness of works to automation.
In the seminar sessions, Juerg Kraehnbuehl, Johan Gely (SDC), Herve Plusquellec (International expert on irrigation and automation), Prof. Victor Dukhovny (SIC ICWC) and as well as representatives of national and interstate water authorities, canal management and others involved in the project took participate.
